Great food and covid protocols were excellent, I learned an important lesson, don't microwave leftover fried fish, eat it all at the restaurant

Tried different items in the menu with my family. Overall food portions, good quality, a little bit expensive given this is a small city.1. Hand battered halibut combo is 4 stars2. Crab melt sandwich is 5 stars3. Salad with shrimp 3 stars4. Clamp Chowder 3 starsFor Muslims, all the above items are Halal. Battered cod fish has beer (contains alchohol).

Post covid curbside order/pick up was seamless! Friendly staff, wearing masks and gloves. Only waited 10 min and the food was piping hot and so delicious. Share a meal if you can as the portions are huge!! I recommend the crab melt .. and the clam chowder! My husband had halibut and chips and it was 2 ENORMOUS pieces of halibut! It was our first time enjoying their food but certainly not the last!

Very unprofessional and rude bar tender. The hostess staff was super friendly, other than that wouldn't even bother. Food was mediocre, out of many things etc....

Crazy expensive and the food was overcooked. Was expecting really good home made chowder, but it tastes just like the stuff you get in a can from the store. Nice friendly staff though and seemed to be taking great covid precautions.

Food was really good. But dont plan on having a drink from the bar no matter how old you are unless you have ID that's not expired even though the state has said its extended the time frame for renewing your license. They do not care, and won't serve you.

Absolutely delicious. I can see why the crab cakes are "famous". Beer-battered shrimp is definitely delicious too! Staff are super nice and very helpful. Thank you all for the great experience and amazing food!

This was a great experience! Not only was the food delicious, but Bennett's had impeccable cleanliness and followed mask and social distancing guidelines. I have been there before and I'll go back again!

Amazing. Service is outstanding, accommodating all the visitors, seated us quickly, current restrictions considered this place went above and beyond, food came out fast and everything was screaming- we'll eat here every time we come back to Ocean Shores, lots of "seafood" options in town, don't even bother- this is the spot.

Love this place. Avocado on the shrimp cocktail is a great touch. Fried Cod is better than halibut. Strawberry lemonade is amazing. Prime rib dip is just drool-worthy. Best bartenders in town.

We were so grateful to sit in a BAR since we've been locked down for over 2 months. The staff were great and very organized to follow the covid directives. We ate there twice on our weekend trip and the food is great as always. We had fish and chips both times, once halibut and once cod. They have the best fish and chips in the county.

My favorite place for a bite of seafood at the beach. They also plenty of other options for those who don't like seafood.

First restaurant experience since the CO-VID19 closings and they did AMAZING!! All of the staff were so sweet and accommodating with all of the unknowns. They were constantly thanking people for being patient and in great spirits! Can’t wait to visit again the next time we come down to the shore.

This place has the most amazing food! We got oyster shooters, crab cakes, fish and chips and clay chowder. The crab cakes and fish and chips are the best I've ever had!

No water. I asked and you can’t have water! Really? Is that truly part of this Covid world?!? I’m sad I have to write this because I have loved Bennett's. Their food is awesome....tasty and flavorful, a touch on the pricey side but we’re splurging. So please tell me why I couldn’t have a cup of tap water? They would charge me for a bottle of water. I feel for the kind servers because they seemed embarrassed to tell me this. Others were given a disposable cup and sent to self serve their lemonade or ice tea. No refills of course and that’s fine. I would have been fine doing that with water without refills no problem. So I’m sharing my opinion of that owner’s decision. Boo. Bad for business.

Great great food! Big portions and yummy. The only thing is they sat us outside and it was way windy, so that was kind of annoying. But that's not the restaurant fault. Will return!

Delicious fish and chips & crab cocktail. Share your food because the portions are enormous. There may be a slight wait with the COVID situation. Order at the counter and sit to eat. Only "specialty" sodas on tap.

This place was amazing! We had a group of 6 with us and managed to get our food to us within a timely manner!Well, here again and this time it isn't starting off great. Asked for a 7-up and it took 3 different times to tell them the 7-up syrup is out. They kept saying it tastes like 7-up but myself and the others are telling them it tastes like Alka Seltzer. I eventually just asked for a water then the server asks if we wanted to share the water. It's a bottle of water! My God, can't we get our own water!!?? Our food isn't here yet but we'll see how well the rest of the visit goes.

Hopping the day we visited. Snagged a great spot on the patio. Clean COVID-19 protocols. Bring a jacket to sit outside as it can be a bit windy and cool in the shade.

Best fish n chips in Ocean Shores. Highly recommend getting the Fish N Clams combo for a variety seafood feast. Come hungry, portions are big!

The Chicken strips were tasty, and the fries were absolutely delicious! Probably the best fries I've ever had from a restaurant.So many spices

Bear batter cod and the crab and Cheddar melt. The fries were amazing and the cod was even better! Nothing would have been left if we had room in our stomachs. This is definitely a great place to stop and I couldn’t be happier that we did.

Hands down best food and service in western Washington! From their fish 'n chips to crab cakes to tuna melts and even chowder, we drive hours from Seattle just to get in line before they're open! Even better on the beach!

I usually enjoy Bennett’s. Today I had fish and clam strips! Fish was good, but a bit greasy! The clam strips were a huge disappointment! Like rubber and hard to chew! Never again. I’ll stick to the fish! Don’t order clam strips!

The halibut combo with clams were very good impressed that it was actual razor clams halibut was fresh,y husband had the clam chowder bowl the bread was good the chowder was not good at all. And we both love clam chowder. The raspberry lemonade was good and fresh.

Great food but incredibly expensive! For 2 Halibut and chips. 1 chicken strips and fries it was $65 not including a tip! Since we're dealing with COVID 19 it is nice they allow you to drive up and someone will come out and take your order then bring it out to your car. You also have the option of sitting outside where there's limited seating.

Awesome spot. Bloody Mary was on point and the combo with Cob and clam straps was very very good!

Leslie was an amazing waitress and recommended the fish tacos and cod combo! We started with the oyster shooters and they are fat and well worth it! Best shooters In This state so far! Not one of them a disappointment....! The fish taco is more of a burrito but has layers of flavor and none of the flavors overpowered each other. Pico, cilantro, a hint of lime and fish in a spinach tortilla with a basket of fries! AMAZING! The cod is battered and looks like heavy breading, which is always disappointing to me, but to my surprise it was more fish than breading! Finally someone does fish and chips right! It comes with clams strips, now the breading on the clams was heavier which was not connecting with me but still good. It also comes with fries! We also had the blood orange cider beer which matched well with dinner! Atmosphere is family, rustic, fisherman pub and very full of great energy! It’s a must in Ocean Shores!

Best fish and chips..I get the halibut and the frys are so delicious. The crab cakes are very good..they sit on a bed of cut up vegetables that complement it well. I recommend to eat here...if you got a non seafood craving the applewood bacon cheeseburger is delicious as well.

Not impressed at all. The crab cakes were alright, but nothing to write home about. Chewing the "tender" clam strips was like chewing a piece of gum, we couldn't even eat them. The thing that I was most disappointed about was that they make you buy water. I have never had a restaurant require you to buy bottled water during this Covid situation, seems like a poor way to take advantage of a situation to make a few extra bucks. I would recommend trying one of the other seafood restaurants in town.

My husband had the halibut and chips and I had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were phenomenal as were the fries. Easily the best food I've had in Ocean Shores. This business also did a great job of following safety protocols to protect their staff and customers from COVID 19.

Great food and drinks! They are doing a good job with keeping up social distancing! I appreciated that.

Super good clam chowder! My grandson ate every bite of his kids cheeseburger meal. I also had the cranberry salad and crab melt. All was delicious!

Seabrook is a fun, interesting, lovely old fashioned place to hike, bike ride, shop and eat at. One of our most favorite places. The staff and homes are a "wonderful home away from home." Very cozy for all ages."

Best fish 'n chips in Washington (got to get the Halibut, Clam strip & fries combo!!) It never disappoints. Always my one stop after gathering shells on the beach.

Bennett's was very good food. We had the cod combo and a halibut combo. The fish was fresh tasting and fried perfect. I would have liked a little more seasoning in the batter but still good nonetheless. The Covid has this restaurant under some strict rules. Overall a good experience and would go again next time we're in town.

Bennett's Fish Shack is the bomb the food is made to order gluten free the freshest fish and chips marvelous crab cocktail their crab cakes were out of this world everything was so flavorful and the staff was very friendly this is a must place to go with gluten being a big thing in today this was a great place I left there not feeling bloated I ate french fries clam chowder oh did I mention the best clam chowder ever let's not forget the salmon salad that too was excellent I think everything on the menu is a must-try great place

Have had lunch here twice this week. The food is good as is the selection. We ha e had the burger, fried freshnoysters, the crab melt and halibut and chips. Everything was good and fresh and not over cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Covid precautions are well thought out and I had no concerns with my family.

A cute little restaurant with a definite local feel. The staff is friendly and informative and the ambiance is nice and welcoming. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. The crab cakes have a very small portion size and taste more like cilantro cakes. The "tender" clam strips were very chewy and the battered cod was very over cooked. The food can be expected to be a let down but the price was the real kicker. So if you want overpriced cafeteria food, this is the place.

We've been to Ocean Shores a couple of times but never stopped. Today that changed. We stopped and had a late lunch. Her, the halibut fish and chips. Me, the halibut and clam combo. Lightly battered and so fresh. So much seafood neither of us could eat the fries. We both tasted them though and they we're crispy and delicious. If that was all I'd say we had a good time but then we each had drinks. The bartender knows what she's doing. The drink prices are ridiculously inexpensive. Jameson OTR was about $10. My wife's gin and tonic was about $7. We're going back before we go home to Kent.

When I come to ocean shores, Bennett's is always at the top of the to-do list! Their Dungeness crab melt is amazing, the fish and chips is equally outstanding. Don't think there is anything on the menu that is lacking. Wish I could give more stars.

Wow! Very good! Fresh, delectible seafood. My wife raved over the combo dish of oysters and prawns with fries. I chowed down their fantastic beer-battered fish and fries. Also enjoyed their fresh homemade raspberry lemonade. Very good service from friendly staff.

This place has great food. Our server was great but some of the other staff seemed a little stressed. The Best Of lunch was delicious; the salad was cool and crunchy and the chowder was hot and one of the best I have ever had.

I waited over an hour to order and get food. Walked in at 11:30, and didn’t order until 11:50. By 12:35 all the tables around my husband and I had their food. Once we waived a water over and told him what was going on, he got a manager. The manager came over and told us “you’ve only been waiting 30 min” and that she didn’t understand why we would be upset. She came back 5 min later saying we could get our money back but no food. I get a lunch rush, I get being confused, but this was obnoxious. I can’t believe they can be in business while treating guests so poorly.

They created a drive up to get your food. The fish & chips were delicious and generous in size. Pleasant waitress. Will go back when in town.

Its very very noisy. The wooden benches make for great kicking by every child in the place! The food is over priced and mediocre. The chowder was mostly potatoes, the crab melt was lacking in crab and way over powered by onion. And there was absolutely no service. No one came by to "check on" us and we had to GO ASK for whatever we needed (additional silverware, sauce, to-go boxes). Wish i could take back my tip

Great food every time I have been here over the last four years. And now they are one of the few places in Ocean Shores that seem to be taking COVID cleaning and distancing seriously. So head on in and know you'll get great and likely safe food.

Good food. Went during covid so its different than usual, plus they're flat iron thing went down so we couldn't get the fish tacos but overall great food and the bloody Mary's were excellent.
